A personal note: I am Frank Frederick A hard-working team and I created iSpeek. After many years in radio and television I decided I needed to try something different to earn a living. My choice was the Voice Over Talent Industry. As my business grew I needed to be able deliver my services to clients in real-time with studio-quality. There was only one choice which met my requirements - an ISDN Codec.
At the time I did not know where I would get the money to afford an ISDN Codec. So I began to search for something less costly... and eventually began delivering audio via the internet in MP3 compressed audio format. Subsequently I purchased a codec.
Over the years I found that Musicians, Vocalists, Talk Radio Talent, radio and TV news reporters, interviewers, college professors and students, and Voice Over Talent wanted the same thing... a high-quality, near real-time, low latency audio codec that did not cost a lot of money . Thus, the dawn of iSpeek had arrived.
I have developed iSpeek to be an affordable personal codec which will deliver ISDN codec like quality (or better) via the internet and without the ISDN cost factor.
